The programme will include a mix of presentations and photographic workshops which will appeal to both novice and to more experienced photographers.

Our Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday 16th of May at Braemar College.

On Sunday, there will be a barbecue lunch for all delegates, and for those who wish to stay on for an extra day an optional breakfast will be available on Monday morning, followed by a field trip.

Come along for a great weekend and share fellowship with old and new friends.

On Line Submission of Projected Images is Live

Feb 20, 2009   //   by Jack   //   Competitions, Member News, Web Site News  //  No Comments

You can now submit your digital projected images for competitions (including the Image of the Year and Annual Landscape comps) and inter-club pre-selections via the club website.

To do this go to the “Competitions” page. About halfway down this page you will see the “Submit Digital Projected Images” link. Clicking on this will bring up a form which needs to be completed.

The form is reasonably self explanatory, but you should note the following:

All fields must be completed (except the “set subject” check box which should only be checked if the image is for a set subject competition)

Use the Browse button to select the file you want to submit from your computer hard drive.

Use the drop down box to select the type of competition you are submitting images for (ie Monthly Comp, Inter-club preselection, Image of the Year, Annual Landscape). It is important that you do this correctly, so that the images are sent to the right competition secretary.

Remember that the maximum image dimensions are 1024 pixels wide and 768 pixels high and that files must be no larger than 250 kb. There is a link to a tutorial on how to do this above the form.

More information on file naming can be found on the Competition Rules page.
