VAPS Interclub Competition 2012

The 2012 VAPS interclub competition was held in conjunction with the VAPS Convention in Ballarat from 19 – 21 May. CBCC performed creditably placing well in most sections.

Large Prints : Equal 7th out of 41 Clubs
EDPI: Equal 5th out of 41 Clubs
Novice Prints: Equal 4th out of 31 Clubs
Novice EDPI: 17th out of 28 Clubs.

Raven Moffitt was awarded a merit in the Novice Print section for his image “Red Wattle Bird”

The top CBCC images in each section were:

Large Print – Dressed to Impress – Cecily McCarthy 13 points

EDPI – Skippers Canyon – Colin Klein 12 Points

Novice Print – Red Wattle Bird – Raven Moffitt 14 Points; Whistling Kite – Raven Moffitt 14 Points

Novice EDPI – Spadge – Roy Phillips 11 points; Lunch with the Birds No 2 – Joy Klein – 11 Points; Transformer – Peter Rushbrook 11 Points.

Ballarat YMCA v Corio Bay Interclub

CBCC Exhibition closes

The Corio Bay Camera Club Exhibition, held in conjunction with the Geelong Seniors Festival over October, closed its doors on Sunday October 28. The exhibition presented over 150 prints and more than 500 projected images and attracted hundreds of visitors from around Geelong and further afield.  [more]

Bellarine/Colac/Corio Bay Interclub Results
