A new long distance interclub competition has been established between Corio Bay Camera Club, the Kettering and District Photographic Society (UK) and the Focus Photo Club Dayton, Ohio (USA). The competition will be held later in 2010, around the same time as our current 3-way with Gem/Kaiapoi

Welcome to the New Year
The first meeting for 2010 is this Thursday the 28th, it is a members Holiday Show and Tell, come along and let us know what you have been doing over the last two months, bring some images as well. There will be a report on the great day had at Hanging Rock – Australia Day Races, hopefully with plenty of images. Those members and their families that attended had a very pleasant day.
We will have the projected images file name and resize program on the clubs laptop to instruct those that need help with this program, I have heard from a few members of their inability to get it to work.
Don’t forget that entries for the February Competition are due this Thursday as well.
Looking forward to seeing you all, Happy New Year in Photography.

New Club Laptop
The club has recently purchased a new laptop computer to complete our facilities for the projection of our digital images at club events and for the storage of important club records.
The purchase was funded through the City of Greater Geelong Councillor Community Grants Program, with a small contribution from club funds. We thank the City of Greater Geelong for their generous contribution to the success of our club.
