The next Committee meeting is on Tuesday March 3.

The meeting on March 12 will take the form of “fish ‘n chips on he beach” at Queenscliff. We’ll be taking advantage of the last few weeks of Daylight Saving for a get together and some twilight photography.

Keep Saturday March 21 free for our inter club competition with the Ballarat YMCA Camera Group. Ballarat YMCA will be the host this year.

Lisa is organising a special screening of “Finding Vivian Maier” on Tuesday April 21  with the Pivotonian Cinema in Geelong West. Admission will be $10. Invite your friends.  To find out more about the story of Vivian Maier, visit http://www.vivianmaier.com/

Lisa is also organising a visit to Werribee Zoo with a 90 minute Open Vehicle Tour (allowing you to get closer to the animals than in the big bus). More information to come.

We are very grateful to the City of Greater Geelong, which has approved our application for a Community Grant to purchase a new High Definition projector. This has come at at the most opportune time because, as some of you will be aware, our old NEC projector gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago when Roza Marciniak was our guest presenter (thanks again Roza for your patience and the way you handled this dilemma).
