Image of the Year 2012
Robert Groom judged the 2012 Image of the Year on Saturday July 7. Robert is a freelance photographer based in Kyneton, in the Macedon Ranges region and also works as an educator through his supporting business, Brave Frog – Photography + IT. He is actively involved in many photographic organisations and he is regularly invited to speak at meetings and seminars. He is an Accredited Member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and a Life Member of The Melbourne Camera Club, in recognition of his ongoing contribution as coordinator and leading teacher of the club’s very popular ’Introduction to Photography’ course since 1995.

Ballarat YMCA v Corio Bay Interclub
The annual interclub between Ballarat YMCA Camera Group and Corio Bay Camera Club was hosted by Ballarat YMCA on Saturday 16th May. The competition was judged by Carol Hall from Ballarat. Corio Bay won this year's very close competition by 12 points. Final scores were:

CBCC Exhibition closes
The Corio Bay Camera Club Exhibition, held in conjunction with the Geelong Seniors Festival over October, closed its doors on Sunday October 28. The exhibition presented over 150 prints and more than 500 projected images and attracted hundreds of visitors from around Geelong and further afield. [more]

Bellarine/Colac/Corio Bay Interclub Results

VAPS Interclub Competition 2012
The 2012 VAPS interclub competition was held in conjunction with the VAPS Convention in Ballarat from 19 - 21 May. CBCC performed creditably placing well in most sections.
